The Last Straw - Paradise Without the Plastic
![]() | With an estimated five trillion pieces of plastic in the ocean, and each piece taking over 400 years to breakdown, we’re doing what we can to turn the tide on the plastic problem. By joining the Last Plastic Straw initiative and removing plastic straws from our resort and restaurant, we’re starting our journey to a plastic-free hotel. We’re also swapping plastic cups and plastic bags with more island-friendly alternatives. And don’t worry about how you’re going to drink your cocktail, we’re replacing all our straws with a plant-based alternative. |
Clean Conscience

Clean Water with a Clean Conscience
![]() | Next time you turn on the tap at Paradise Sun you won’t see a difference, but behind the scenes we’ve made some big changes. Our new Eco Treatment System is now chemical free, so you can drink-up or have a shower cool-down knowing that the water is filtered by nature, not by chemicals. We also now use natural filtration and purification processes on all toilet waste water to remove all the bacteria, leaving the water crystal clear, odour free and ready for garden watering. So even if you don’t notice the difference, the island will, and we think you’ll agree, that’s pretty special. |
