Top 5 Seychelles Beaches
1. Anse Lazio (14 minutes drive from Paradise Sun). Arguably the most beautiful beach in the world. While that may seem like a big claim, it has it all. Big leafy takamaka trees, pearly white sand, impressive smooth granite boulders and yachts bobbing in the ocean.
2. Anse Georgette (30 minutes from Paradise Sun). Not the easiest to find or get to, but worth the effort if you are looking to experience the spectacular. Perhaps most impressive is the incredible ocean colours, that are even more vibrant because of the lack of rocks or coral under the water. Talk to Paradise Sun Hotel staff before you go, as the beach has a limit on the number of visitors allowed daily. The benefit is of course it remains unspoiled and never crowded.
3. Cote D’Or (In front of the hotel). One of the longest beaches in the archipelago. Over 2km of white sand, dramatic granite formations at the Paradise Sun end of the beach and palms all the way. Look out towards pretty St Pierre island or swim across for snorkeling around the tiny island of Chauve Souris. Guests at Paradise Sun hotel make use of the free snorkeling equipment, SUPs and kayaks for beach and water exploration.
4. Anse Source D’Argent (La Digue) Take the 15-minute ferry across or a boat taxi from the beach to La Digue. Best enjoyed when the tide is low, the water is shallow and the reef has some good fish spotting opportunities. Giant boulders, white sands, arched palms. This one has it all and then some. (Visitors need to pay an entrance fee to the estate that leads to the beach)
5. Anse Intendance (Mahé)1km long with the possibility to see turtle hatchings between October and February. It is beautiful, wild and mostly untouched. If you are spending a day exploring Mahé then arrive by car (taxi or hire car) or take the bus and ask for directions from the bus stop.
